We all know that feeling, the one where you lock your car door and shut it and something just doesn’t seem right. You think for a second and try to open your car, and then it hits you. The keys are locked inside your car – looking right back at you. The is one of the most frustrating sights you will run into, and it happens to thousands of motorists each and every day.
In a moment of turmoil, I personally have locked my keys inside my car (a few times). I had a rental car some years back, and was about to go to work around 3:00 AM. I set the keys in the seat, went to go grab my cup of coffee, and just as I returned the wind shut the door, and it locked just as fast as it had shut. That situation set me back a good $80. The second time, I was in a hurry to grab something from the car, locked the car door, and shut it closed. Just as soon as I shut the door, I thought to myself – you just locked your keys in the car didn’t you…. Another lesson….
In any regard, it usually happens at least one to everyone. You shouldd’t feel stupid (as many customers tell me) or get upset (although we do). It’s fairly fast to call someone to unlock your car, and be back on your way in no time. Don’t let it ruin your day, and move on. Our life is too short to let a small incident like this get us down.
By the way, did I tell you I now own a San Antonio Roadside Assistance Service assisting others who have locked the keys inside their car? I know how a customer may feel, so I do all I can to get the issue corrected and get you back on your way. If you ever need your car unlocked call us!
